從軍人公務員，到一起守護恆春的海From Soldier & Civil Servant to Hengchun Ocean Keepers
29 歲那一年，我們做了一個決定 — 不再將就，勇敢一次。
從零開始，把世界繞了一圈，最後選擇回到台灣最南端，用這片海寫下屬於我們的故事。
At 29, we made a choice — to stop settling and live boldly. We started from zero, traveled the world, then chose Taiwan's southernmost coast to write our own story.
當了 9 年的職業軍人，曾以為自己什麼都不會、對未來感到茫然，以為這輩子就要這樣將就。29 歲那一年，從一個不會游泳、不會半句英文、沒有任何專長的人，決定勇敢一次，克服心中的恐懼，成為潛水教練。A 9-year career soldier who couldn't swim, didn't speak English, and had no skills — until 29, when he chose courage over comfort to become a dive instructor.
從小到大只會唸書，不能吃苦還有點公主病的菜鳥公務人員。對世界充滿熱血憧憬，總以為下半生只能在辦公室神遊。但 29 歲那一年，離開人人眼中的舒適圈，決定從零開始，去看看真正的世界。A bookish young civil servant who dreamed of adventure but thought she'd live out her days at a desk. At 29, she left "stable" behind to discover what life could really be.
澳洲兩年，把整個大陸繞了一圈 Two Years Across Australia
從西澳的牛肉乾工廠開始 — 遇到把我們當朋友的老闆，帶我們出海釣魚、吉普車衝沙，半年走遍整個西澳。後來租了 2 台豪華露營車，10 個人從西澳沿寂寞公路、林肯港、阿德雷德、大洋路一路玩到墨爾本。
我們在最夢幻的雪山兼了兩份工，剩下時間瘋狂滑雪，Gary 還成為了滑雪教練。最後在凱恩斯找到潛水教練的工作，每天在大堡礁上打滾的海人生活，就此展開。From a beef jerky factory in West Australia to chairlifts in the Snowy Mountains to dive boats on the Great Barrier Reef — two years that built who we are today.

在土耳其卡帕多奇亞搭熱氣球、穿梭千年神話的吳哥窟、泰姬瑪哈陵見證永恆愛情、外星人的埃及金字塔、北歐五國大冒險、冰島藍湖看極光、挪威夢幻峽灣、加拉巴戈群島與海豹企鵝共遊、北極特快車去找聖誕老公公、17 天豪華郵輪跨越大西洋、玻利維亞最像天堂的天空之鏡⋯⋯Hot-air balloons in Cappadocia, the Pyramids, the Northern Lights, the Salt Flats of Bolivia — we spent everything we'd saved, and would do it again in a heartbeat.

走過了世界，最終我們選擇回到台灣最南端 — 恆春。這裡有著世界級的海洋資源，卻一直沒有被好好認識。我們想用在大堡礁累積的教學經驗，把家鄉的海介紹給更多人，讓每一個人都能在這片海找到屬於自己的感動。After traveling the world, we chose Hengchun — Taiwan's southernmost tip — to share the same wonder we found on the Great Barrier Reef, right here at home.
「環遊世界結束了，是終點卻也是我們的起點。」"The end of one journey was the beginning of ours."
Gary & Daisy 剛好是我們兩個的英文名字開頭，「GOOD」則是我們最喜歡的英文單字 — 簡潔有力，又多了一股安定信心的力量。我們帶著勇氣和彼此，順從自己的心，創造屬於自己的 100 種生活。
Gary & Daisy share the initials G & D — and "GOOD" became our favorite word: short, strong, and quietly confident. With courage and each other, we follow our hearts and create 100 versions of a life worth living.
